The artist sells both Fine Art Prints and Limited Edition Prints on this site.

Fine Art Prints are high-quality images that are printed on premium papers, mounted on archival mounting board and matted (if applicable) with acid-free 4-ply matting.

Fine Art Prints Prints are generally:

1. sold as open editions, which means the artist can print and sell an unlimited number of Fine Art Prints of that image;

2. not signed by the artist.

In contrast to Fine Art Prints, Limited Edition Prints are of particular interest to art collectors and differ from Fine Art Prints in the following manner:

1. they are signed, by hand, by the artist;

2. the number of prints of any given image is limited in number, and once that number has been sold then no further prints of that image will be sold by the artist;

3. they display a number hand-written on the bottom of the print such as “1/10” meaning this is the first print in an edition size of 10;

4. they come with a Certificate of Authenticity which certifies that the image is an original image created and printed by the artist. The Certificate records attributes of the image including: (a) name of the image, (b) image size, (c) name of paper it is printed on, (d) Limited Edition number and (e) includes the artist’s signature;

5. they are typically printed, mounted, matted and enclosed with museum-grade premium archival materials which contribute to the longevity of the print.

Limited Edition Prints are typically more expensive than Fine Art Prints.

All Limited Edition Prints made and sold by Jeff Bullied | Fine Art Photography meet all the criteria itemized above.

Our Fine Art Prints are printed on high-quality Epson Premium Luster photographic paper. This paper is a midweight, durable, bright white paper with a luster finish and minimal texture. Images are printed on inkjet printers that are specialized for photography printing using dye-based inks.

For images with a 1:1 square aspect ratio, standard sizes for images are 16” x 16”, 24” x 24”, 30” x 30”. For images with a 2:3 rectangular aspect ratio, standard sizes are 16” x 24”, 20” x 30” and 24” x 36”.

Images can be ordered as (1) a print alone (unframed), (2) a print mounted and framed with no mat and (3) a print mounted, matted and framed.

If the print is ordered alone (unframed), then it will come with a 1” paper border. Thus, a 16” x 16” image would come printed on photographic paper that is 18” x 18”. The 1” paper border offers some options for possible framing by the customer after receiving the print.

For framing we use is a hardwood Gallery Black frame, 0.75” wide on the face and 1.25” deep.

Covering the print for protection, we use acrylic plexiglass rather than glass. UV-filtering acrylic has become the industry standard among art sellers and galleries. Acrylic is lighter than glass, scratch-resistant and shatter-resistant. It also provides more UV protection and less glare than glass.

Our Standard Acrylic filters 85% of UV rays. This is our default acrylic.

The back of the frame is covered with a backing board or a heavy brown paper dust cover, thereby entirely sealing the artwork from dust and the elements.

For matting, we use a Bright White 4-ply acid-free mat that is 2” wide.

For hanging hardware we provide eyelets, screws and wire for hanging, as well as plastic bumpers to protect the wall from the back of the frame.
