FAQs

  • Please see Limited Edition Prints for full detail.

  • All digital negatives are edited and inspected with great care by Jeff Bullied before being printed. Then, the print itself is inspected carefully to ensure excellence. The image is framed by professionals and wrapped and packed by experienced experts. I am excited and honoured that you are considering bringing my artwork into your home. I take the responsibility seriously and I will do everything in my power to ensure you are delighted with your purchase. My hope and intention is that your first purchase is not your last.

  • Your print is made of high-quality materials that should last a lifetime if properly handled and framed. The unframed print will be delivered in a shipping tube. Do NOT handle the unframed print yourself. It is not good to store the print in the tube for extended periods of time. The period of time from when the tube is delivered until the artwork is safely and properly framed is the time of greatest vulnerability for the artwork.

    Our very strong recommendation is to take the tube, unopened, to a reputable framer of your choice. Ask the framer to promptly remove the art from the tube and dry mount the image. The framer will be familiar with how to handle fine artwork and will wear clean white gloves to remove the print from the tube and inspect it under ideal lighting before dry mounting and framing the artwork in a dust-free environment.

  • The cameras we use are of the highest resolution and the digital files created are capable of printing very large images. That said, technology changes quickly and that has been and remains very true in photography. Some images featured on this site are older images shot on camera gear that, while state of the art at the time, are lower resolution than today’s cameras. We are open to requests to make larger prints, subject to image resolution and shipping considerations.

    We are also open to requests for different framing and matting. Face-mounting an image to acrylic is also an option, especially for images that are larger than our standard sizes.

    Please contact us at gallery@jeffbullied.com for custom requests.

  • In order to maintain the consistency and integrity of the image, we do not crop or otherwise alter images.

  • We make our prints to your individual specifications. Therefore, all sales are final, non-refundable and non-returnable.

  • We take great care to ensure our artwork is carefully wrapped and packaged to prevent shipping damage. We use plexiglass rather than glass for its superior characteristics, including the fact that it is shatter-proof thereby reducing the incidence of shipping damage. However, we understand that delivery can result in unforeseen and unfortunate occurrences.

    If, upon receipt, you observe marks or dents on the exterior of the shipping box or tube, please do the following:

    1. Take photos of the exterior of the box/tube;

    2. Take photos as you open the box/tube, with specific images of the areas of any damage to the artwork.

    3. Notify us of the damage by email to gallery@jeffbullied.com WITHIN 7 DAYS of receipt of the delivery. Please put “Damage_ Your Name_ Order Number X” in Subject line. Please attach the photos noted above. The 7 day time limitation is important, because beyond that time we lose the right to make a claim against the delivery company by their Contract of Carriage.

    4. Once we are notified and in receipt of the necessary information from you, we will determine the best way to rectify the situation. We address these rare circumstances on a case by case basis. We are confident an outcome can be reached that will be satisfactory to all.
